Halloween

We had a fantastic Halloween. We started a tradition a couple years ago where we do chili and cornbread for dinner before trick or treating. This was the 3rd year we have done this and each year it gets more and more fun. This year we had The Brown's, Malone's Mayo's and Smith's come over for dinner and trick or treating. The kids were all so good and the bigger kids were so excited to trick or treat and get candy so we loaded up the wagons and headed out. The littlest littles were so dang cute in their costumes it was ridiculous. We didn't walk around too long as the babes weren't having any part of spending hours in the wagons but we did a couple blocks and got plenty of candy. We set up the bumbos in the wagon because riding in a wagon isn't the easiest of tasks if you are good at sitting, let alone if you have only recently learned how to sit up or haven't mastered it yet. It worked perfect! There are lots of pictures in this post so be prepared!

These 3 babes are super close in age, I think Avery must have been nursing so she missed
out on the picture.
The itsy bitsy spider and the flower
Chicken and her friend Molly also known as the cupcake
Chris used his spider to his advantage and got himself some candy
I got T some sparkly princess shoes that light up when you walk...she only wanted
to wear her flip flops. It must be in the genes.

Chris all excited about his candy loot
The littlest littles in the group.
If they could talk they would be saying "Really mom? Get these costumes off, now"
Daddy and his chicken
Trying to get all the kids to pose for a photo was not an easy task
In fact, we don't have one photo where they are all looking.

Ever seen a flower crawl? Well, now you have.
Avery Daschmav. I could bite her I love her so much.
Kim dancing with E

What's up cowboy?
Ellison was obsessed with Molly's hat. I think she wanted to nurse it.
Aren't we creative lame for putting her in the flowers for a photo?
My Cinderella and my flower
Is she not the most beautiful thing you have ever seen? Seriously.
My silly chicas

Chris said this is what they would have been talking about. "So, what are you supposed to be?"
"A flower, what are you supposed to be?" "A spider." "I cant believe our mom's did this"
Kim and I and our girls, they are less than 3 mos apart.

They're ALL so darn cute in their costumes! The babies seem to have tolerated the whole thing well while the bigger kids clearly had a blast! What a fun Halloween tradition! Jac, why don't you tell the REAL reason T didn't want to wear her princess shoes? Can't believe you didn't get a photo of that whole scenario. :)

Good times for sure! Schmavery had a great time with her first trick-or-treating adventure and had lots of fun with her bestie flower friend. Maybe next year she can have a hat on without having a meltdown though :)

Such great pictures and everyone looked so cute in their costumes! Tatum was so pretty as Cinderella with her little makeup on. Ellison and Avery were adorable as the flower and spider, love it! :) Looks like you had a great time...hopefully I get to join in on the festivities soon!!

Love the "convo" between Avery and Ellison. What a fun time trick or treating...we were bundled up here because it was freezing!
