New Years Resolution

Hi all, My New Years resolution is going to be that I am better about updating the blog. My good friend Kim in so many words told my my blog is boring without actually telling me it was boring. Sooo, my resolution is to post pics etc about things even if its not totally about the baby so everyone knows whats going on in the Locke household. I am awaiting Christmas photos from my mom and will post them to show you all what the baby got for Christmas etc. Hopefully that will make for a not to boring blog. However, for now you will have to suffer. We find out the sex in 6 days and counting so we will be able to start to post all new purchases as well as nursery updates as Josh is more than eager to start the nursery. For now, I will post what is going on with the baby and hopefully within a few days will get some photos posted. Thanks for hanging in there! Love to all.
Baby~~ Eyes are at final destination and face forward rather than to the sides and reflexes, such as blinking, develop. Ears move to final position and stand out from head. AbdomenMeconium begins to accumulate in the bowels. Meconium is the product of cell loss, digestive secretion and swallowed amniotic fluid.LimbsFingertips and toes develop the unique swirls and creases of fingerprints and toe prints. Blood and Nervous SystemCirculation is completely functional. The umbilical cord system continues to grow and thicken as blood travels with considerable force through the body to nurture the fetus. The placenta is now almost equal in size to the fetus. Nerves are being coated with a fatty substance system (myelin) to speed nerve cell transmission and insulate them for uninterrupted impulses.
